Oral Self-Assesment

I use the questions of the Self-Assessment of the presentation of the blog to do a little Self-Assessment of my oral presentations.

I have done two oral presentations, one of the computers and the Internet and the other of Shawn Mendes, a person that I admire. I use, for the two presentations, a powerpoint support to put photos about the things that I explain. The second presentation I think was better than the first because I prepare more the things that I want to explain. I think that my presentations were good and interesting. I think the visual support of the presentations are better than my oral because sometimes I'm nervous and my pronunciation is very bad. I use conectors and expressions to do my presentations because is more easy to explain it. I think are good and its funny to do, and I will improve my pronunciation and do it well next time.

The Vamps Xmas album edition and tour DVD

The Vamps have announced two very special treats for their fans ' on the 1st December they will release a Christmas edition of their multi-Platinum debut album Meet The Vamps, and a live DVD from their Birmingham NIA show on the recent Meet The Vamps tour. 

I think it is a very good idea to do this album edition because in this album there will be some songs from the other album and Christmas' songs but them versions, changing the style of the music or the lyrics.

Ariana Grande, in concert in Barcelona

Ariana Grande, the young artist sweeping worldwire, will embarck on a world tour to promote her album "My Everything, The Honeymoon Tour". She will go to Barcelona on June, 16 to sing to all her fans and can meeting her/his idol. The tickets for the concert are now on sale, from the 21 November, in shops like Fnac, Halcón Viajes and Corte Inglés. But, the fans club for Ariana have already tickets for the concert. 

For my opinion, Ariana's concert will be very good because I like this singer and her songs are very moving and funny. I think it's good that Ariana Grande comes here because there are a lot of fans and people that want to see she in concert and in direct.

Describing a person- Shawn Mendes

A person I really admire is Shawn Mendes. He is a Canadian music artist. He was born in Toronto, Canada on August 8, 1998. He is a singer and a songwriter, all the songs are created for him. Shawn's instrument, that for him is a symbol for his identity, is the guitar. It is the only instrument that he uses in his concerts and songs. The types of music that he sings are Pop, Soul and R&B. He first started posting covers of songs at Vine, a socialnetwork app, and in Youtube. Later, on 2013, an artist manager discovered him and brought him to Island Records, a company where he signed and released his first single, Life of the Party, and the others. He is the youngest artist to debut in the top 25 with a debut song on the Billboard Hot 100. He won the Teen Choice award in 2014 for Webstar in Music. Apart from this, a way to recognised him, Shawn toured as a member of MAGCON Boys, a company of young artists and social media sensations like Cameron Dallas, Nash Grier or Jack and Jack.

He's a tall boy with brown hair and brown/green eyes. He isn't a very muscular boy but almost he do exercise to be fit. His hairstyle is a toupee and his smile is so atractive.

The thing that I love about him is his personality. He is a very peaceful boy and he is very interested in his fans. He's very lovely to all the people and he always help them. Always he is laugthing with all of his friends. He doesn't think that he is better than others and he wants to make his wishes come true. He's a good-looking boy, nice to all the people and, the most important for me, he's is a fighter with all this that has with only 16 years old.

In conclusion, I'm a huge fan of Shawn and I love him. I think that he has a new life in front of him and he would have a fantastic future doing the things that he wants: sing for alla the people and especially, to all his fans. His songs and their lycris are very moving and when I'm listening to them, I feel with more energy than before listening to it. For me, his songs and his voice are the way to forget all my problems.

I'm in love with Shawn Mendes and I think that he would be a great boy to meet, and I wish it will come true one day.

The group was do three concerts to say bye to their country and their people. The people of València were very excited and shouted a lot.

Dear Maria,

My name is Berta and I'm in First Batxillerat A. I was born in August 10th of 1998. I live in Salt with my family but I have more family in Bescanó. My hobbies are playing the guitar and running.

Last summer, I went to France with my family for a weekend. On Saturday, our first plan was climbing a mountain. As we were going up and very close to the summit, my uncle stumbled and he almost fell down. My cousins and I got very nervous and shouted a lot, but my uncle was balance and wasn't fell down. After this, we arrived at the top very nervous and excited to have done all this way full of obstacles and troubles.

Presentation

My name is Berta and I'm 16 years old. I'm in First Batxillerat in Vallvera and I live here, in Salt. My hobbies are related with the music and the sport. My hobbies in music are playing the guitar and sing, and hobbies in sport are running or riding a horse. I like reading romantic books, too. I love listening music and I can't do anything without this. My favourite singer is Shawn Mendes but I like more singers or bands like Acció, The Vamps or The Fooo.


My favourite music band is The Fooo Conspiracy and I discover them on Instagram, a social-network.Since this day, I'm listening them and watching their videos. I don't have a favourite song but I love Whistle or Suitcase.

Self Assesment

My objectives for this English course are learning using techniques that give us and practise at home for understand the things that were done in class.
I have my highs and lows on this language. I am good at listening or reading but I'm not so good at writing because sometimes I make few mistakes and the same on grammar.
I want to learn more vocabulary and practise more grammar because it's very important for my future and sometimes I don't remember the gramatical things in English. This is for I say before that I want to practise at home.
